After a semester of thesis writing, it sure is nice to take a break from the daily grind of reading the driest, scholarly articles imaginable.

I’m writing my thesis on startup accelerator programs and how they speed up the startup process, and man, for all the excitement of technology and startups, I’ve never read such boring and dry material about “entrepreneurship”. I know that it’s still a relatively new phenomenon and all, but jeeez Louise, you think they could spice up the writing a bit to be a little more exciting. It is after all, going to change our world!

Anywho, I’m excited to be taking a break from it all to visit an old high school German friend of mine living in Hannover! And I get to take the good ol’ regional Deutsche Bahn for the first time in a long while. I was pleasantly surprised by this google animation photo of the train I took while waiting on the platform. It felt like I could imagine a scene from movie just playing out in front of me on this photo, with maybe Harry Potter stepping off the train for the Christmas holidays to go on some crazy adventure 🙂 I guess we’ll see what kind of adventure this train takes me on!
